was on the bus today when the man sitting next to me got up, approached a woman sitting across from us, put a $20 bill in her hand, and said "I think you dropped this" and then got off the bus. She looked a little embarassed and said "I can be clumsy like that." I didn't really think much of it until I looked closer and saw that her clothes were tattered, her feet unwashed and bandaged....and what initially looked like a really big tattered coat to me was actually a blanket. She also carried a plastic bag with a roll of toilet paper in it. --may--
