On a stop into Suter's Meats, an old-fashioned butcher shop on the main street in Greenville, Ohio, my father-in-law thoughtfully asked the butcher for a bone to give to our dog. The butcher, who must have been overcome by the holiday spirit--or just feeling mischievious--returned with a massive 10 lb. bone. Riding on the same seasonal spirit, we brought the bone home. The dog, not having heard the old adage that you shouldn't eat anything bigger than your head, eagerly attacked her prize, and must have been thinking, "I LOVE this country!"
