| Changing of a flag that was still there Wed 09.10.03 2:08pm PDT #6236 |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It seems kind of fitting to visit the changing of the flag at Fort McHenry on the eve of the second anniversary of 9/11. The fort reminds of an era when war was simple and the country could be defended from behind some little mounds of earth. It was unthinkable then that war could one day consume the entire planet. - mike lee - baltimore |
