Ahhh sweet city scenery. I just finished shooting about 200 frames of a photo composition containing The Empire State Building, a flag and a cloud-veiled moon. I'm sitting on a fire hose valve in front of 1333 Broadway near West 35th Street with the Coolpix on a tripod. It's a pleasant 60 degrees and the rain clouds seem to be clearing.

Some of people walking by paused to try to take the same picture; most smiled and kept walking. A cop said, "hey, that's a Nikon 995. Great camera." And then I chatted with an artist from Jersey City named Habib who excitedly shared my passion for making images. I gave him the URL to curiousLee.
