I hopped out of the cab a few blocks away from the hotel because NY Sanitation was doing the last of the cleanup of the side streets in the financial district.

I dodged hydrualic shovels and dump trucks along Pine Street wielding my Sidekick for photos. The hotel's desk clerk--who was just getting off her shift--startled me in the middle of making a photo by saying "Hi Mr. Lee!"

The sidewalks for the most part were cleaned off--wouldn't want a broker to get his expensive shoes dirty...
