There's a dent on the lid of my Powerbook now and I'm really lucky (like $900 lucky) my screen didn't crack. I had the computer in a fitted Incase sleeve and it was the AC adapter stored in the neoprene side pocket that left the dent when I bumped it on a door. Tekserve in NYC wants somewhere over $150 to replace the piece which I'm inclined to do since I'm concerned that the dent will put pressure on back of the screen. The other choice is to cover the spot with a fun sticker and not worry about it. Anyway, a lesson was learned.
