| Buildings deconstructed Sat 01.25.03 10:05am PST #2723 |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm at the open house of Second Chance Architectural Antiques & Salvage at 1645 Warner Street in Baltimore. Second Chance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that carefully retrieves and sells interesting architectural elements from old buildings. The funds from sales and other sources is used to train low-income residents of Baltimore in a wide variety of skills, ranging from carpentry to craftsmanship. We walked through a retail sales building and a large warehouse full of great stuff. They will be open on Saturdays soon.
