So I got out of the Spool talk and set out on foot to explore the Union Square area for food. My first choice would have been Republic, which is an excellent japanese noodle place right on the square. But the wait was 25 minutes.

Now I'm in the position of being somewhat hungry but with no strong preference for cuisine (drawing a lower threshold at McDs). Bad situation when you're in New York City where there are interesting places to eat on virtually every corner. I ended up at E 19th St & Park Avenue, and settled on the City Crab and Seafood Company.

Dinner is Maryland Crab Cakes--thanks to the AIG consulting contract expense account.
