After many, many signatures, Paul and Marie (with the help of the title company and banks) have passed their house on to us. The flurry of contract papers passed around the settlement table helped distract us from what was an emotional experience for all. They are off to lunch and more unpacking, and we the same to prepare for spending our first night in the house. Several tons of Baltimore arrive by truck tomorrow so we want to be in place, rested and ready.
