![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Today was the first day of our two-day scenario planning workshop with the Global Business Network. In addition to the GBN team and colleagues from work, we were joined at the Hotel George by a number of external invited guests including cyberpunk fiction author Bruce Sterling (4), gaming expert JC Herz (2, 3rd from left), MIT Media Lab Executive Director Walter Bender, Stanford Persuasive Technologies Laboratory's BJ Fogg (2, 2nd from left), University of Maryland Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory's Ben Shneiderman and the Usability Professional Association's President Whitney Quesenbery. The room of 30 was probably the most diverse and accomplished I've ever joined. The day was engaging and productive producing a draft framework in which we'll create four scenarios for the future tomorrow. Of note: Bruce has already photoblogged the local security landscaping. - mike lee - washington, dc |
