![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() New (for our work group) is having an employee in another state. We metthe office of our new teammate, someone who worked with our group a couple years ago and is affectionately known as THE DISH. The suite of rooms, which are an existing regional office, is nicely provisioned--nice view of the parking lot too! Interesting anthropological bit on the BlackBerry: We heard the buzzing alert refered to as "moo-ing" and the device is called simply a 'Berry. In D.C., I think I most often hear people irreverantly refer to their CrackBerrys, in a nod to its addictive nature, but maybe also a wink to D.C.'s notorious past mayor. When I was working at a financial services company on Wall Street a while back, they called them RIM devices. Hmm, I may have to do a search to see if someone has done a study on all this. - mike lee - chicago |
