I got a call from our friend Geoff this (Saturday) morning saying he was getting married tonight. This was a total surprise. He said his girlfriend Sandy's sister's two teenage boys were tragically orphaned last week, so before Sandy was to take custody of the kids, Geoff decided to propose to her Thursday, filed papers Friday and had a small ceremony tonight at their art gallery/antique store. I took photos of course. A night of joy shared with close friends and family was just the right way to turn around a week of sorrow.
