Noah's teammate, Carlos Rocha, showed me an early prototype of a simple companion module to the RFID tag reader that can deliver sound samples or streams from any Internet connection. The RFID/sound module pair could sense an ID tag passing near it and retrieve a sound from a central server. A series of these inexpensive devices could be used in a museum to play audio clips as visitors passed by individual exhibits.
