I am finishing up sitting with several of the Physical Language Workshop team to get updates on their work. Noah Fields showed me his ongoing exploration on ways to display thumbnails of large collections of photos on a horizontally-scrolling timeplane. His prototype works with the RFID tag reader developed back in March. Tagged sections or pages in a photo album, for example, could bring up the corresponding image when swiped across the reader. I'm installing the prototype (built on eclipse) on my PowerBook to play with back at home.
