Replaced the motor in the vaccum, but something was not quite right, as the brushes where throwing a huge shower of sparks. The commutator seemed out of round, so my dad and I dissasembled the motor and chucked up the armature to resurface the commutator.

Turns out it was quite a bit out of round, and this trued it up nicely. Reassembled it and....still not fixed! Back to the drawing board.
