this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayAfter fabbing of brackets a bit of wrestling, the cooktop and downdraft vent are done. Works great, I tested it out by cooking a bowl of ramen! =) Seeing this thing deploy out of the counter and retract back in is about a 9.5 on the cool-o-meter, and also very in keeping with Shelly's desire to have a kitchen with a clean look.
