Well, I've started in on programming my Philips Pronto remote in earnest. The ProntoEdit tool is fantastic for making the screens look exactly how you want them to look. I've taken pix of most of the screens I've got set up so far. Nice thing is that many people have shared their config files so there's a lot of the work that already has been done. The layouts aren't finished, so the UI is somewhat ugly on many of the screens, but for right now it's function over form.

Also, now that I can send commands that aren't on my remote, I've automated the switching process from sat to dvd viewing. Next step will be buying an IR to X10 converter so I can control the room lighting with the remote. Then, when I hit the "dvd" button, all the components will switch over and the room lights will automatically dim to a preset level.

Pretty cool, huh?
