I got some exciting news from my 2nd cousin who is graduating high school next June. She received her acceptance for admission into Duke University's Pre-Med program next year. She'd rather stay in CA to go to school though. Her mom (my 1st cousin) and I are very proud of her.....as folks from our side of the family are not historically motivated to pursue higher education.
