Next stop ATL. Looks like this flight is leaving fairly on time, so the night is looking good. The first flight is always the key to these things after all.

Kansas City was beautiful today. Sunny and cool, with a slight breeze all day. I ate at Dick Clark's American Bandsatnd Grill for the first time. Actually pretty good food. It's got a similar schtick to Planet Hollywood or Hard Rock Cafe, but it's not as offensively expensive, and it feels a little more homegrown. The pictures are a little too cluttered, and there's a few too many solo pics of DC himself. But I like that, as it doesn't feel quite as commercial as the others.

I got stuck with a middle seat on this flight, which I hate, but I'm in an exit row, so there's a lot more legroom than usual. (I am really looking forward to the free segment upgrades coming my way.)
