I decided recently to try my luck with Linux. I've heard that Mandrake is a great version for newbies. And I'm definitely a newbie. I'm going to throw it on an old system running around 500MHz and 96MB of RAM and that's apparently way more than you need. I also decided to buy a new hard drive to install it on. I have Windows 98 running on the main drive and I want to dual boot. I'm pretty sure if I try to install it on the main drive I'll screw something up and lose all my data. And I think I'll try to avoid that situation. I know that situation. That situation is not fun. My AIM bot - YackityBlahBlah - try him sometime... My AIM - sorenlikesyou - try me sometime... |
