The clouds have cleared bringing out a crisp, clear sunny morning. Amy, Liz and I are walking from west side to east on our way to see an exhibit at The Smithsonian's Cooper Hewitt Design Museum.

WiFi is no bull!
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayWow, the wifi at Bowling Green Park at the end of Broadway in Lower Manhattan is up and running. But ofcourse Blogger is down so I won't likely be able to post high quality photos before the park closes at 9pm. Besides, I'm starving.

BTW, the signal works all the way over by the bull sculpture.

The place has been here since 1925, and is as busy as ever. Next stop, the Einstein exhibit at The Natural History Museum.

I finally took a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge tonight after five months of working and living in Lower Manhattan. It's probably been 10 years since my last crossing. The night is a cool 55 degrees. Perfect night to end up at Nha Trang Centre Vietnamese Restaurant in Chinatown to down a big bowl of Pho.

I schlepped all the way up to the Loews IMAX on 68th & Broadway only to be told that Ghosts of the Abyss 3D is being screened, but NOT in 3D due to tech problems. Maybe tomorrow night.

It's a gorgeous night for a walk around the Upper West Side. But first, dinner at Ollie's Noodle Shop & Grille.

re:ears and cirque's
I'm in Baltimore this weekend, and an extra day Monday, which will be a treat before little soaps again. I didn't realize Cirque was in Atlanta the same night. The tour schedule tells me there's a chance I can see the Atlanta show (Varekai) when it comes to New York City. Last night at Dralion was my first crique show. My wife says the storyline was not as tight as some of the other shows she's seen, but I was enchanted nonetheless.

BTW, since I travel so much between Baltimore and New York, I try to drop in an appropriate signature line with my location highlighted in bold. I keep my sig short if it's fairly obvious where I am.
