We're at the Air & Space Museum's Dulles annex, the Steven F. Udvar Hazy Center. Pictured here in the cavernous display hangars are some of the signature artifacts: SR-71 Blackbird, Space Shuttle Enterprise, Enola Gay Bomber and Air France Concorde. The steel arc against blue sky is the sculpture in front of the museum by John Safer titled, Ascent.

Amy and I are here at The Children's Place store at Arundel Mills Maul in Glen Burnie, MD to pick up some more clothes for Baby Cianna. She's grown over 4" in the last seven weeks and doesn't fit in her newborn onesies. I can see making choices in the near future between gadgets and clothes for kid. Such is the plight of this proud parent.

Dalton (Barnes & Noble) dropped their discount of the America 24/7 book from 50 to 75%! That makes this $50 book yours for $12.50. If you'll recall from a while back, this is the book in which I have a photo on page 1. The book made it onto Oprah's Favorites and The NYT Bestsellers lists. It's a good buy if you are into photography, interested in American culture, or just like pretty pictures.

My co-worker Thom and I were taking a break from a meeting at an ad agency, and being the observant chap that he his, pointed out the unique pattern of drainage holes in the men's room urinal. I guess one could see the pattern as an aid to improving one's aim.

My friend Jodi is doing vocals in a new local band called Mr. Wilson at Pebble's Pub in Woodlawn, MD (west of Baltimore just outide the beltway). They played three great sets of classic rocks hits. That's Jodi in the last three frames ... yeah, I try not to miss any opportunities to photograph her

I turned in my card key (again) at my last job and took one final look at my offices of 4 1/2 years. My e-mail account and LAN access will be blown away too; an entire work identity erased. But I take many good memories and a raft of hard-earned knowledge with me on good terms with management.
