I resumed my personal project of photographing female friends today, which I put on hold back in November due to the arrival of the baby. This afternoon, I visited Janet again, and we made photos indoors and out for about four hours. One of our favorite images will be on my main blog later tonight.

I decided to stay home with our dog this weekend to decompress while my wife and baby took a quick trip to visit her folks who are vacationing at Hilton Head Island, SC. They've been sending some sweet photos from their Sidekick camera. I'm also getting SMS messages and of course we've chatted by phone. They return tomorrow, and then I have a business trip each of the next three weeks, which will put me in Austin, Chicago, and Boston.

The idiot owner of this car was too lazy to take one of many empty spaces around the corner and left his car parked in the middle of the street. My car has been blocked in for the last 45 minutes. I knocked on the door of the closest house with no success. I called the city's 311 non-emergency number, and 15 minutes later, a cop car drove by a block away but didn't stop. So it looks like on Saturdays in the Charles Village neighborhood of Baltimore, you can do whatever the hell you want with your car.

I just devoured a lobster roll sandwich, which I was surprised to find on the menu at the bar at Zola. It's been almost two years since I've had one of these yummy sandwiches (last time in Maine), so it was worth $18. I really need to try making these at home.

For the last two days, our web team had marketing consultants and a tech trainer in residence, and conducted six two-hour user testing sessions on a bunch of prototype web pages. All this on top of our normal workload. Hopefully the daze will lift after my 8am meeting this morning.

After a long day at work: Beer on train, buzz on taxi, beaming at home, and baby!

We're having dinner at Aunt Gerry's with some of the Flanagan Clan. They're all meeting Baby Cianna for the first time and she is babbling up a storm.

<3 Technology and art at heart: I'm wearing a cool OpenAtelier t-shirt that John Maeda sent me. I might be exhibiting in his Galleria later this year.

<3 Kid's first V-day: Baby Cianna is in a great mood and babbling away. We're continuing practice on how to say "oh yeah baby!"

<3 Puppy's birthday: Our dog Cody is 10 years old and enjoying life. The baby's room is her new favorite hangout.

And now we're heading north to Philadelphia to visit my wife's Aunt Gerry.
