I'm gonna enjoy it while I can!

Taking a cue from Mike, I dug out my philatelist's loupe (16x) and tried it out. To my surprise, it worked fantastic, just as Mike said. My examples are a Texas state quarter, my class ring from University of Houston, a red pencil, a .45 cal bullet I have laying around my office and the key to my house that I'm selling on aug 16th.

This is really cool! I've always loved macro shots, so now I can do them with my sk. :)

Tested it out last night, but it was too dark to get pix. There's still some sand in there which I have to vaccum out, but it works! Really is quite strong too. We're off to the old house to pack up the garage today. I'm thinking this spa will come in handy tonight!

Finally got it fixed. You can see right where the PVC 90 cracked. Poor construction planning lead to this failure. I had to fix it with some rubber couplings because of the tight quarters. I'll run it for a while before I have a deck poured over it. ;)

This is that it looks like with it all broken up. In the second picture, I'm pointing to where the leak is. Yep, right under the next piece of decking. I think I can excavate enough under it to get to it without tearing up that part of the deck too. If not, I've got A LOT of work ahead of me. That 4' x 4' section kicked my butt!

Well today is the day to jackhammer the deck and fix the plumbing leak. First pic show the draining spa, so after I get the deck up, it won't try to flood out and soak the repair area. The next pictures are the piece of decking that has to come out. It's about 4' x 4'. Michael (wireless) IM: mwsmith70

Beats me what these are, but they sure look nice. I was going to plant something by the trellis so it could grow up over it, but it appears that the previous owner beat me to it!

Whew, pretty hot today, great for moving. =/ filled the Excursion to the brim. That thing holds a lot of stuff! Also, please note the now non-green pool. :)
