Some snow, but mainly sleet. None of it is sticking, but some is accumulating in the valleys of the roofs. Haven't seen this stuff down here in years!

I got home yesterday to find a strange package addressed to MWSCOG, Inc. Upon opening it up, I find this sweet little USB christmas tree. It lights up in 6 different colors (all not pictured here!) smothly transitioning from one to the next. Also in the gift note was every #hiptop cliche I'd ever heard hehehe. I'm gonna have to stick this one on top of my cube wall!

Works great, I tested it out by cooking a bowl of ramen! =) Seeing this thing deploy out of the counter and retract back in is about a 9.5 on the cool-o-meter, and also very in keeping with Shelly's desire to have a kitchen with a clean look.

Well, almost. I have the stove hooked up so we can use it, but the downdraft vent isn't operational yet. We also have to buy a faucet and install that....and I have to hook up all the plumbing, garbage disposal...weeeee!

Gonna take more than one day to install tho. The color is verde forest and wow, does it look great! Goodbye butcher-block formica!

Got the crappy old linoleum removed and porcelain tile laid in the kitchen. What a nice improvement! Next will be tile around the living room and down the hall. I'm still amazed that just 36 hours ago, that linoleum was there. These guys are fast!
