Welcome to Gruene, TX, site of the Gruene dance hall, built in 1872. It's the oldest dance hall in Texas, and was used as a movie set location in the John Travolta film "Michael".

Also, we ate at the Gristmill, a resturant serving traditional Texas fare. It was very good -- the chicken fried steak and garlic mashed potatoes were to die for! Was about a 50 minute wait for a seat, but the weather outside was very nice and they had some live entertainment for a diversion.

Also some shots of the hotel pool and a s0weet 'vette.

Just got it in tonight. Put in 15 feet of fluorescent lighting. That's 6 more feet than we had before. The small buffet wasn't even wired for it, so I added wiring and a switch when I tore the wall out. Really looks slick!

Just have 1 more light to add over the sink. That and change the rest of the outlets out to black, along with the wall plates.

Apparently, this is what you need to plug your laptop in if you travel to South Africa. The plug is rated for 250v, 16A.

Apparenly the rubber strap broke, so someone got a piece of twine and tied the flapper to the handle. Only problem is, they tied it too short, so it works, but you have to hold the button.

Ah well.
