Just spent half an hour repotting some of the herbs I've been growing. The Basil and Parsley are getting big, and I want to see how they will handle the transplant. I may give some of my other ones away to friends if it looks like they are doing ok. The basil is pretty pungent, and has been growing really well. It was nice to be able to use some the other day when I was making chicken soup. It's also nice to have something green growing in the aprtment. Adds a little color and life.

Something bad finally happened this week with my sidekick. I had heard about the display cutting out, and keys not working, and the zebra problem, but nothing like that had ever happened to me.

Not until wednesday.

I walked out of the office and looked at my sidekick, no picture. It wasn't in power save mode, and nothing I did seemed to turn the screen on. I could still move around the menus, because I could hear it making all the little sounds. I checked my voicemail and then thought what I should do. I needed to drain the battery, and the sooner the better. I plugged in the camera and left it in preview mode. I took a bunch of pictures, and left it for a while, it was dead when I got home.

You can see me standing over it, waiting for it to die. Oh yeah, and some plant from my newly started herb garden. (^8

Passed 3000 miles on my car saturday. Averaging about 1000 miles/month now. Pretty good I think, this car will last a long time at this rate.

Went and played disc golf yesterday with a few guys from work. It was kinda hard getting up early so we could early to get a game in before dark, but it was real nice leaving work at 4. When DST kicks in, it'll be easier to get in a game before dark.

A little windy today though, not making my standard 4 on many holes.

Went to Maggiano's yesterday for lunch. I've never eaten there before, but I was pleased with it. It's not a bad deal if you take home your leftovers and eat it for lunch the next day. I got the Rigatoni "D", I'm not sure what the D is for. Could use some more chicken in it though.

Been out playing paintball with some guys at work. Lots of fun, but it sure does sting if you get hit in the wroong spot. I have two big welts on my right arm, but it's all good. It's such a beautiful day outside, and I got some exercise.
