Another shameless plug for this site, Interactive Narratives.org. It is the brainchild of designer Andrew DeVigal and is focused on bringing to light some of the best multimedia story-telling pages created by journalists and their organizations. You'll find screenshots, links, and as the site grows, critiques and how-to's. It is our hope (I am a contributor) to get some great work in front of a larger web audience.
Please stop by and take a look!

Haven't been here for a while 'cause for the last month or so I have been beta testing the new Six Apart product, Typepad. In a word, its great! I love my new weblog, Good Reputation Sleeping; its done with the Pro product and has lots of features I have yet to fully explore.
Moblogs, photo galleries, multiple authors; all are available for a price, and that is the rub. Typepad is really a hosting service or even an online service (with proprietary software) in weblog clothing. That may make it a hard sell at upwards of $150.00 per year. Good luck to the Movable Type folks, the adventure starts Monday!

Home again, home again! And with my two new friends - some hot sause picked up in North Carolina. 'Honey! Where da hell is my Sauce?' and 'Pleasure and Pain'.
Perfect with BBQ and ice cold beer!

Spent a rainy NC day at the Wright Bros. Memorial at Kitty Hawk.
It truly gives you a sense of just how unbelievable their feat was when you see the still empty country field and the two tiny sheds that were home to the brothers and their dreams. December 17 is the anniversary of the day that changed so many things. --keithwj--

A wet start to vacation week number 2 here in North Carolina. We are kinda ready to be home anyway so we are resting up for the drive back tomorrow.
All in all, a good time away. -- http://keithwj.typepad.com --

I am celebrating the 4th with a great American author-William Gibson. I am finishing Pattern Recognition; I had to stop reading it a few weeks ago because I didn't want it to end!
I am ready now to complete the journey. Happy 4th! --keithwj--

I've done a badddd thing! Sprint induced me to switch my other cell to their Vision service which has allowed me to get a new toy, the Sanyo 8100. Its got a great color screen, a very decent built-in camera, pretty good ergonomics, works great as a phone, and is small with long battery life. Web access is ok too - keypad typing is still THE major drawback.
As a next gen (US) phone, however, it is pointing to a future that Danger may have trouble keeping up with, witness the rapid growth of textamerica (example-xeni's moblog). And did I mention that it's $100 less than the new color Sidekick?
(PS - belated info on the Spongbob birthday cake - its a Giant (east coast) Supermarket special. Available now!)
