DramaKween...graduating from middle school...heading off to high school where my hubby teaches. My cousins and my best friend from junior/sr. high school will be making the trek to lovely Pomona, where the commencement will take place.

We're heading up to DramaKween's school so that she can say her good-byes to the friends who won't make it to the graduation ceremony tonight. I guess it would've have been a good time to have a CSK right about now.

Hubby has been calling me from the Sears Outlet store in Chino. For the last 5 years, he's wanted to get a big screen t.v. Our bedroom has been the "unofficial" entertainment hub and we get tired of the kids hanging out in there all the time to watch t.v.;)

Our 65" Sony HiScan Rear Projection TV (for the family room) will be delivered in a few days. He got it for 1/2 the cost of retail. We'll have to get a 2nd DirecTV setup.

DramaKween & I are heading out to get a purse for her graduation ensemble and I'm waaaaay overdue to get my nails done and car wash. I bought a D-Link AirPlus Xtrmeme G wireless card as a replacement but my laptop doesn't recognize the card although I've tried many times to install it. I'm going back to CompUSA to exchange it. I had to drop back to the existing wireless card that I was going to give to hubby.

By the tie I get back home, it'll probably be dark.

Morpheus has spoken....I can't believe after all the posts, calls and Color Sidekick sightings, it's become a "reality" that the Color Sidekick will be available this Friday :)

I have so many social events this month (3 graduations, 1 birthday, Father's Day, etc.) and I finally got my subwoofer installed in my car this Sunday...that it's likely that I won't be rushing right out to get the color Sidekick right away. I'll probably let the fanfare die down a bit...just like the Matrix 2: Unloaded....oops, did I say that out loud ;)

What would a prelude to sweltering days of humidity be without visiting the local Best Buy with A/C and decibels of the latest CDs blaring from the speakers high above in the rafters? I had ordered Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD & Instant Copy (sold separately) @ Best Buy's online store, but grew impatient. Went to retail store to make my purchase, which was a good thing because the Instant Copy is bundled w/Instant CD/DVD software for $100 - $50 rebate = $50.

I've been in angst as to when is a good time $$$ wise to rival my husband's car sound system. I spied the

Fast & Furious" Loaded Sub Box w/Dual 10" Drivers & 450W Amp on sale, but passed again. I'm seeing more video/dvd in a bag items (just in time for summer travel) @ electronic stores. Of course, I had check out what they had on the aisles for Matrix-related stuff. I want to get a car vac but couldn't make up my mind on which one to get, so I didn't get anything, but I did get an "open case" Jabra hands-free earbud for my Sidekick for $19 ($29 new).

I missed all of 7th Heaven during my Best Buy "tour", but did make it home in time to catch "EVERWOOD"....my fave TV show.

Friday: Hubby & I went to see Matrix: Reloaded. A lot of folks say that there was more dialogue than was necessary. The movie started out kind of slow. The one character I didn't get was that French speaking dude. The Neo vs. Agent Smith x100 scene was jaw dropper. We stuck around for the Matrix: Revolutions trailer which will hopefully answer some questions left by Matrix: Reloaded.

Saturday: The girls went to go see the Lizzie McGuire Movie. It was a typical trading places teenage movie. I think the TV series if funnier. Took DramaKween to the dentist (again)...it seems like every time we go back there's some type of recommended procedure she **needs**. The next procedure (veneers) will cost as much $$ out of pocket that I paid for her braces. Hubby doesn't think it's a good idea and to just get the braces off and be done with it if insurance doesn't pick up the cost.

Sunday: Went to JigNeNe's school fun fair later in the day. It was packed with elementary and middle school kids buying cans of silly string and confetti to spray on each other. We got a few cans of silly string and attacked DramaKween and her friend that was hanging out with us for the afternoon. The fair had a surf city theme. They raise about $20K-30K to divide amongst the 3 elementary schools for their fine arts program. For dinner, we went to Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. It was packed but we didn't have too wait long for our table. Yhe macaroni and cheese was a little too rich for me.

A 3-day weekend is coming up and to get some rest & see XMen sequel. I am looking forward to the lazy days of summer :)
