I almost missed it, but I caught that the the acronym -- "O M C" -- has the Danger HipTop in the graphic which I interpret to mean that this is a Danger-affiliated/sponsored event. I also read the fine print for the cost ($16) of the conference and that mobbers can attend remotely by community blogging and live feeds. I've signed up....remotely, of course, just to see how it goes.

These pics were taken around 5 p.m. The parade was more interactive as they had non CAST members -- men, women small kids wearing various pastel colored tutus and pajamas marching in the parade. All I could think about was how HOT it must've been in those full body costumes and makeup.

They have moved the headliner of Disneyland to California Adventure -- across the way.... The Main Street Electrical Parade. I remember being here 20 yrs ago for high school Grad Nite walking down Main St in my turquoise, fuscia, white skirt and nurse white shoes. I was quite the fashion plate back then.

Well..we made it. Been going nonstop. Space Mountain is closed til 2005. Missed Toontown because it closed @ 8:30. As Goofy would say ...Aw Gosh! It was so hot earlier in the day. Went last night to see Charlie's Angels....not very good on plot...but the special effects and action were great. The first Charlie's Angels was better. Trolling thru the movie theater after CA was over and spotted poster for Arnold's next movie...Terminator....Rise of the Machines....looking forward to that movie as well as Bad Boys II.

Getting late start and plus it's cooler outside now...to go to Disneyland...finally. Plan on being there until closing @ 11 pm. We didn't go yesterday because the Park was closed starting @ 6:30 p.m. = no electric light parade/fireworks .... closed for Pirates of Caribbean premiere.

Well, it's as "dead as a mouse's ear" now....must be lunch time and plus I'm REALLY hungry. I'll venture down to the cafeteria to for some eats. When I came into work late this morning, the parking lot was not nearly as full as it was during the past four days.

I took the pictures also to see how'd they come out in "office" lighting.

Companies to reveal hacking

Consumers will learn next month whether their favorite shopping sites are steeled against computer fraud or haunts of hackers and identity thieves, CNN.com reports.

Starting July 1, companies must warn California customers of security holes in their corporate computer networks. When a retailer discovers its credit card numbers have been stolen, it must e-mail customers, essentially saying, "We've been hacked, and the hacker may have your credit card number."

Local politicians call the regulation the first of its kind in the United States, and it could become the model for a nationwide law. U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein plans to introduce similar legislation within a month.

"Corporate and government databases are increasingly becoming targets of identity thieves seeking Social Security numbers and other sensitive personal data," the California Democrat said. "Under current law, all too often people are unaware that an identity thief has gained this information and may be using it to run up credit card bills or use it to manufacture a new identity."
