In my search for the transcript of the radio program that I heard a few mornings ago about the plight of black men where Bill Handel spouted about black women and the blight of "decent" eligible black men as marriage prospects. The trending indicates that black women do better in - education, career, $$ etc. than black men.

In the meantime, I found a website for Life As A Black Man --- The Game which correlates with the radio interview conducted by Bill Handel with the game's creator, Chuck Sawyer.

Today was a busy day @ work...picked up DramaKween late from "childcare" ....daycare workers made out like a bandit on the late fees I've racked up. Speaking of non-ringing SKs...I finally caught up with my hubby who also has a T-Mobile Samsung R225 freebie phone that has been turned on all day and in good coverage area, but it didn't ring all day and no indication of missed calls....between DramaKween & I, we must've tried calling him 10 times today. She also tried calling me at least three times and my SK never rang or flashed either :( -- not a happy camper.

We stopped at Star$$s on the way home...I got a Toffee Nut Creme/Vanilla Latte and DramaKween had her staple of hot chocolate. She tooks the pics and a few of them didn't flip over so they were eliminated. She was aiming & shooting and the Star$$s green apron dude asked if we were taking pics...and then said that it is against Star$$s policy to take pictures of their stores. What a drag...

...hmmmm, I see you're also a Trader Joe's afficiando.....the Battered Halibut is tasty especially with tartar sauce....chicken & cheese enchilada's are DramaKween's personal fave....

The pic with the throngs of people is our bi-weekly trek to local Post Office to get out of mail jail when there is too much mail to fit into the P.O. Box. It was after 1 pm on a Saturday when I went there and it was packed. They used to have the side window open for non-money transactions but lately that isn't offered as a "service".

There's pics of DramaKween & JigNeNe at the local "I" doctor. Doc said that JigNeNe inherited my I's because she has a difficult time focusing. She has been wearing glasses since she was about 4 years old. She had a big change in her prescription and the Doc got on her case...big time...for not wearing her glasses in class. We ordered her glasses on Saturday and I got a call on Wednesday that they were ready to be picked up...I remember it used to take 2 weeks for glasses to be ready. DramaKween's a lil'nearsighted but doesn't need specs yet. BustAGroove can't even make out the letters on the SK w/o her specs & the "I" doctor said that it will get worse when I hit 4-0!

JigNeNe picked out Barbie glasses this time around. The "I" doc's assistant threatened JigNeNe that if she didn't wear her glasses at school, then the next time around she would get big, ugly, thick lens glasses ;) Then there are the pics of the girls in the Explorer that I got rid of. JigNeNe was said to see "iot" go, but it was for the best.

and in with the new......I think this was the last picture I took of JigNeNe and DramaKween when I still had the Explorer that leaked oil along with a myriad of other problems. It's interesting that JigNeNe gets attached to "things".....like she cried when I told her we weren't going to have the Explorer anymore.
