Spicy Chicken

I had actually gone home for lunch, but realized that I had no food upon opening my pantry.

Oh well. I work about a half mile north of the University of Texas campus (hey Slax0r! Keep that IOTD updated.), so fast food is aplenty around here. I was going to take cornrow to lunch, but he hasn't been answering my instant messages. Too bad for him I guess.

I will now end this mesage with a moment of silence for one of the greatest men to ever live.

In memoriam: Dave Thomas...he made great sandwiches, he cared for kids, and he really knew how to beef the fries.

Greetings again from the (supposed) live music capitol of the world.

I was expecting t-storms this morning, so a beautiful blue sky was a wonderful surprise. I got these shots on the way to the office this morning, and I'll be interested to see how they come out. (I know the speedometer is upside down...I forgot to hit the flip key)

It's wednesday, which means that it's practically the weekend. I will be flying to dallas on friday (first trip with my sk!), flying back to austin that afternoon, only to immediately board a bus full of crazy college students and beer, and drive back to dallas that night. (I might actually explain this in a later post, but I don't have time right now.)

I hope everyone's enjoying their sidekicks as much as me.

This I find impressive considering the amount of time she spends with a dumb expression on her face. Poor woman.

So instead of a picture of her, you get a pic of my House of Blues mousepad. A week from now, you should be getting updates from the Bob Dylan concert in Los Angeles. And afterwards, maybe a report from the HOB.

This reminds me that ireally would have preferred that Austin got an HOB instead of a Hard Rock. But WTF, not anything I can do about it.

The Sportsman Barbershop

This is my barbershop in Austin. One of the photos is Bill Black. When you walk in to the barbershop, the only sign of anything somewhat modern, is a sign that says "Barber Bill; As Seen On TV". Below it is a frame with pictures of Bill on David Letterman and Jay Leno. He's also been on a segment of the Daily Show.

The other picture is Kim. She cuts my hair. She's pretty cute because she is a small asian woman who runs a chair amongst a bunch of 60 year old men who talk about fishing, hunring, and god all day long.

And I get all this entertainment for $12!

It's a gray day in Austin, and I am finding every excuse I can to play...er...I mean use my sidekick.
