My brother in law's group ended up getting "Most Wrong Video" at the BPM 48 Hour Music Video Competition tonight. Most Wrong, as in, inappropriate. That wasn't even an official category but they won it. Considering the song they were given to do was "Orgasm Addict" by the Buzzcocks it was hard not to win that category.

We had a nice run at the Bagefest 5k this morning, went to Einstein Bros. Bagels for breakfast afterwards, and then headed home. We finished up planting roses, took a nice nap, and now we're relaxing in front of the TV watching Funny Face.

Tonight is the awards for the BPM 48 Hour Music Video Competition. My brother in law's group won something. They don't know what, but we'll find out tonight at 9:45 at Alamo Draft House...

Heading over to the Bagelfest 5k. I forgot my SK3 headphones though, so I won't be taking pictures of the race. See ya there!

...it's effing gorgeous outside. A small patch of rain blew threw about 5:00 this morning during my drive to San Antonio for work but right behind it was cool dry air and some nice sun. Right now it's 71°F with

a nice breeze. Just perfect.

I'm attending a special event at Alamo Draft House. It's the Beats Per Minute 48 Hour Music Video Competition. About 20 teams have received a CD with a song on it and they get 48 hours to listen to it, film a music video, and edit it. Tonight is round one of the judging and my brother in law is in one of the groups. This should be interesting...

Oh, and for anyone that isn't familiar, Alamo Draft House is a movie theater in Austin that serves food and alcoholoc beverages. No one under 18 is allowed and they will actually kick you out if you talk or your cell phone goes off. They play normal movies and have cool events like this all the time. It's the best movie theater ever. No, seriously, it was voted the best theater in America by Entertainment Weekly. It's the bombdiggity.

Anyone that's going to be in the Austin area next Sunday should come out to the Bagelfest 5k. A 5k is only 3.1 miles so it's really not too bad if your in reasonable shape. It's about a 30 minute run at a slow pace. No big deal. Plus you can walk as much of it as you want.

I'll be there listening to my SK3 and taking pictures as we run. :) It'll be our first 5k of the season. To get you inspired I attached a few pics from the Sausagefest 5k last year.

I saw this car on the highway this morning. It was a tiny little car with a giant OVERSIZE LOAD sign on it. Normally these cars drive in front or behind 18 wheelers carrying very large loads. Not this guy though. He was just chillin' in rush hour traffic.

I was curious to know whether he just didn't bother taking the sign off between jobs or if he somehow got separated from the truck he was driving with...
