Well, after the contest hype settled down I contacted the winner (Divinity) to deliver the prize money. Divinity graciously turned it down. So I went on the the second place winner (Arepem) who also turned it down. But not before giving me the good idea of donating the money to Hiptop Nation.

Project Gutenberg is a website that I thought I'd share with Hiptop Nation. It's a site dedicated to hosting free ebooks for people to download. All the books are public domain so it's perfectly legal.

You can download anything from Edgar Allan Poe to Jane Austen. It's not the place to go for the latest best-seller but they have great books. I don't think you can read them through the Hiptop browser but you can download them and email them to yourself. I already have several saved on my Hiptop.

drewg, I love the picture of the balanced can. My friends and I used to do that back in high school. Then I thought to myself, "Holy crap, that was almost 5 years ago!"

I'm still very young but the fact that that my five year reunion will be this summer makes me feel kinda old. I know there are people plenty older than 22 in the Hiptop Nation but it's old for me. I've never been this old before. I wish I felt wiser...

PS - I won't be attending my reunion, I wasn't big on high school then and I'm still not. I guess that's why I left a year early. (I didn't drop out, I worked and went to college my senior year)

I just got out of The Matrix Revolutions and all I'm going to say is that I liked it. I liked it a Hell of a lot. If you care to know more, IM me. I don't want to ruin anything for anyone. And a cold front came through while I was in there. It's been a good night.

I don't want to turn Hiptop Nation into a movie chat session but I do want to say that I really liked Reloaded. I thought the fight scenes were better than anything I've ever seen and the plot was good considering it's part two of a trilogy. That's a hard role to play for a movie and I thought it did really well.

It answered some questions but not so many that Revolutions isn't going to be a surprise. Reloaded was over-hyped though. I'll give you that much. I also think a lot of people didn't quite get the ending. Anyway, if you want me to explain more IM me or start a thread on the forums. I'll also be sure to post a review tonight after the movie.

Last night I bought tickets for my brother and me to go see Matrix Revolutions at 7:20 tonight. I thought it was cool that the first showing is at 8am this morning.

Then I settled in front of the couch and watched Reloaded so I could have it fresh in my mind. Has anyone else noticed how much less promotion this movie is getting compared to the second one? I wonder why that is.
