Arepem's post made me think about MTV's old show The State. (Because of the Barry & Levon reference of course) I love that show. I have the best of tape they put out but hadn't thought about it in a while. So I did a google search for it and found this site that has a ton of the episodes and all kinds of other stuff. Foremank's post really got me thinking about when I lived in Crested Butte, CO. I've lived in TX all my life except for the 2000/2001 ski season. For those few months I moved to Colorado and snowboarded almost everyday. It was an amazing experience. This picture was the main one that made me reminisce because it looks so similar to the parking lot of the grocery store where I worked at night. Growing up in a state where it snows about an inch every ten years makes you really appreciate the stuff.

I get to see a good friend of mine tonight. Jason. I haven't even talked to him much over the past couple of weeks which is weird since I used to chat with him almost everyday on AIM for a while. He's moving today and now he'll be only 25 miles from me instead of about 150. And that's wonderful because he's pretty much the only person I know that's into computer stuff. And that's what I play with during most of my free time. Hurray for transfering colleges, Jason!

Over the holidays I saw a couple of pretty good movies. I saw Cold Mountain which I give a solid B+. I'd give it higher but I don't really like wartime movies, but that's just personal preference. I also saw Big Fish which I definitely give an A. The story was great and the visuals in the movie were wonderful.

I also bought a DVD two pack at Best Buy for $14.99 with Boiler Room and Sleepers. Two very good movies and worth much more than $15.

Whoever had my cell phone number before me was aparently named Max because I still get calls for him every so often. It's usually not a big deal and I don't think the same person has every called twice. This morning I got another one. I didn't recognize the number and no one calls me at 8:00 in the morning so I let it go to voice mail. When I listened to it it was some guy at a local grocery store talking completely in Spanish. Well, I've been working pretty hard on lonerisks.com lately. I'm making it from scratch and I'm basically making two websites. One almost completely flash based and one all html for the bandwidth impaired. It's a lot of fun though. It's such a great feeling to be sitting in front of a bunch of code or an .fla file, then testing it out and having it work perfectly. I wish I could do this stuff for a living. Sadly, I'm stuck working as a Warranty Administrator. Maybe one day...
