Wow, I just realized it's been ages since I've posted here. I've been spending a ton of time working on my car and less messing with the SK.

Not much else going on except I'm going to Denver for two weeks for work. I'll be doing a little training and squeeze in some snowboarding. I can't wait!

I posted about my invasion animation the other day and I forgot to mention the birds flash comic that I put together a while back.

Birds was actually a 2 inch by 2 inch comic that a friend of mine made a bunch of and was handing out to people for no apparent reason. For his birthday in March I turned it into a flash version and added sound. I don't know how we come up with this stuff...

Well, I haven't posted in many many months because I've just been very busy, my car broke down, my dog ate my homework, blah, blah, blah...I know you guys don't really care too much about the details.

Anyway, I thought I'd let you guys/gals know I'm working on my site again. I've got a new animation up. It's nothing too special but I wanted to start small. It's called invasion. Check it out if you get a second.

I've completed my first paying gig as a website designer/builder. My wife's uncle sells really good pickles and jalapenos. I'm sure in certain areas that sounds really weird but you should try them. I'm sure mwsmith has had good pickles before. Anyway, they taste great. You can check out the site here. The company is WesTexasHerbs and they're called Fire & Ice Pickles & Jalapenos. I opted for the 40 GB ipod photo and after synchin' it up I still have a little over 10 GB of spare room. But I doubt that room will last long...

I finally hacked my DVD player! I can now play DVD's from any region in the entire world. I am no longer tied down to only U.S. releases of DVD's. Now I can watch my Boomtown Season One DVD Set that I recently bought from the U.K. Hmm, I'm going to have to go check out www.amazon.co.uk and the international DVD section of ebay too. I think the fourth season of Futurama is already out in England.

I also hacked the background image that you see when you first turn on the DVD player. It used to look like this but now it looks like this. It's fun to hack into commercial products and give them a little personal touch.

I haven't posted on here in a while but things have been going pretty well. I may be changing jobs soon to one that will pay about $5000 more a year and will probably be considerably easier than my current one. Thanks go to my brother for putting in a good word for me.

I've been trying to work on my website and it's been going OK. I should have a major update in the next week or so. It's been much easier since I got a dual monitor video card for my birthday. Oh yeah, and I'm selling my two month old Radeon 9200Se on ebay if anyone is interested.

I'm also starting to take classes again this summer and hopefully I'll be going full time within a year or so. Other than that I'm just cruising along at a good speed.

I decided to get my haircut today. I've been trying to grow it out for a few months but I just can't stand it anymore. I had long hair back in high school but I don't think it works for me now.

My wife and I are going to go to La Zona Rosa tonight and see Joss Stone. She's really good. If you haven't heard her check her out.

If we have time we may go see Kill Bill Vol. 2 also. I've been meaning to see it and I'm one of those lucky men that married a woman who really enjoyed Volume One and wants to see Volume Two. It really is nice having a wife who appreciates Quentin Tarantino.

The good news today is that I got a free monitor. My wife's parents got a new flat panel so I got there old CRT. My current one has been being a bit cranky and I think it's going to die soon. I had an extra PCI card laying around so I was going to set up a dual display system until the old monitor actually does die.

The bad news is that the video card isn't compatible with Windows XP as a secondary video card. I had my heart set on it too. I think I'm actually going to check ebay for and old PCI card. I think I better go with at least 32 MB. Hey, anyone out there want to donate or sell an old one?
