The seventh and final installment of the Harry Potter series. My UPS guy just dropped it off. It was kind of neat and embarrassing at the same time. The box it was delivered in was clearly marked with Harry Potter decorations. There were even warnings all over it that read "ATTENTION MUGGLES - DO NOT DELIVER OR OPEN BEFORE JULY 21!"

Now it's time to read...

I'm by no means a Harry Potter fanboy but I do enjoy the books. There's no denying that they're entertaining. I've read the first five books and own the sixth, I just haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I hadn't planned on it but I pre-ordered the last book on amazon.com today. That means I need to blow through the sixth book this week so I can read the last one when it comes in. For anyone else that reads them, you have less than 24 hours to pre-order it if you want it delivered on the release date...

Yep, even ketchup packets now have youtube links on them. Apparently Heinz Ketchup is doing some kind of contest with youtube to allow their ketchup loving fans to create their own ads. Sounds kinda dumb if you ask me but the winner gets over $50k, so that's not so bad. Maybe I'll eat a few packets and see if I get inspired.

I'm spending some good quality, geeky time with my new copies of Adobe Flash and Photoshop CS3. Kinda pricey software but worth it.

This is pretty funny, it looks like almost everyone on HN either got an iPhone or is waiting for Mike Lee's review of his iPhone. So wake up, Mike. The nation is waiting...

And sorry to hear about your delay of success randyg. That's gotta suck a little to get one and then have to wait to even get it setup...

Anyway, back to reality. I need to go mow my grass. It's been raining so much lately I haven't been able to do it. It's turning into a jungle.
