I'm really not one of those people that posts pictures of their dogs all the time and only talks about them like they are their children. People like that annoy me. But lately I've ben doing nothing but work and playingwith the dogs so my HN life is going to reflect it. I apologize.

The San Antonio network went down with no ETA on a fix. Since EVERYTHING that I do requires access to either the internal network or the internet I get to head back to Austin early...

Yes, that's my crotch, yes that's my puppy, and yes he's adorable. His name is Dunkin, he's a dachshund. He's not actually a puppy, he's two years old but he still has a puppy face.

He's currently asleep and having puppy dreams. He keeps making little muffled woofs with his eyes closed. I think he's after something.

Tonight my wife and I made sushi. It's really not that hard to do a basic roll. Just slap on some rice, veggies, pre-smoked salmon, etc., roll it up and slice. Don't forget the fresh ginger and remember "Presentation is important."

Tasty sushi at home for like ten bucks or something. Mmm, it was good too.

My lovely 3 day weekend at the beach was great. We ended up not getting to the sea kayaking but we did go fishing. We went out on a nice 40 foot boat called the Petrel for about six hours and caught about 70 lbs of king fish. We also tied up to a shrimp boat and traded a case of beer for over 30 lbs of fresh shrimp.

And today I'm back at good old work. At least it's a 4 day work week. Oh, and Will Ferrell is awesome.

Well, not exactly beach but ocean stuffs. The house, the wife's MINI fit under the house, a little rental cart, and some marina pics. Pizza, wine, beer, and movies tonight. Sea kayaking is tomorrow.

We're down at Port Aransas having a nice relaxing Saturday. The house we're staying at is my wifes aunt's house. It's a nice little A-Frame about 1/2 mile from the beach.

The afternoon should include a trip to the beach and maybe some sea kayaking...
