Playing the PC demo tonight to see if I'm going to buy it tomorrow. So far, it looks like I'm going to have to buy it. This game is super rad. I see why it's gotten such great reviews.

I'm finally installing Vista 64 bit on my computer. When it first came out I wasn't really interested and after using it a little on other computers I'm still not that interested. I'm installing it on a second hard drive (third technically since my primary setup is a RAID array.)

I'm going to dual boot for a while and see what I think. I'm mostly doing this because, as a computer guy, I need to use it just out of principle. I can't have average people running around with more experience with Vista than me. It hurts my geek pride.

Today is day 311 of The sorensilk iPod Challenge. I'm on song 6969 of 7112 - Wynona's Big Brown Beaver by Primus. (No, I'm not kidding about the song number and name.) That means I only have 143 songs left to go.

There are a few nifty backgrounds in the catalog now for SK3 and SKiD folks.  Nothing too great though. Plus they don't have different bubbles, hinge sounds or icons.  I think I'll stick with sk3themes...

...another few hundred dollars. My job is so boring but it pays the bills, it pays me for going to school, and at the end of the day I can just let it go and not think about it again. There's something to be said for those qualities. I certainly don't have my dream job but it does fit my current needs pretty well.

I generally only use about 20-30 minutes of my lunch hour to eat, so I have to find ways of entertaining myself the rest of the time. Sometimes I read, sometimes I nap, and sometimes I go over to Fry's and browse around. I didn't find anything I had to have but I did notice that Crysis is available for pre-order. I'm looking forward to that game quite a bit.

The wife lady scored four free tickets to the Round Rock Express game last night. They're the affiliate team of the Houston Astros. Baseball isn't my favorite sport but the games are fun to watch so we usually go to 3 or 4 games a year. Somehow, we almost always manage to get the tickets free.

We invited a few friends that we've gone with before. We had some hot dogs, a hamburger, peanuts, a few beers, and a good time.
